It is wise and healthier for both men and women to always to “Pee” or to Pass Urine Peacefully in Squatting or at least in Sitting Posture.. :-)

It is a sensitive topic to discuss “Pee or Passing of Urine”, yet at the same time, we can see for ourselves, that if we practice passing urine in standing or squatting posture it can have a great impact on maintaining a Balanced and Healthy lifestyle, Happy and Successful life.

So often people ask, “How to Increase Your Libido and Avoid Impotence”? First of all by pee, relieve yourself, pass urine or urinate in Squatting Posture. Why like that?

Generally, in the animal kingdom, animals take different postures for standing, sitting, passing urine and passing stool. In human society on the other hand, we see that small children by nature, before they are trained up by adults, naturally pass urine and stool in squatting posture. Why is this so?  An Ayurvedic doctor, Dr. Achyutananda explains, ‘urinating while standing leads us to backache, loss of energy of the senses, fatigue and quick loss of vital energy’. Dr. Shiva, who is also an Ayurvedic doctor, describes that, ‘from a health point of view, by nature male and female bodies are made in a way that when in squatting posture all urine naturally and effortlessly and peacefully flows out, because in this position the human body is more naturally relaxed and that helps urine to completely leave our body. If habitually, we urinate in standing posture, then 5 to 10 percent urine remains in our urinary system. As we see, most dirty things and garbage sediments at the bottom. This means that if one urinates in standing posture and never completely empties the urinary system, our urinary system starts to gather sediment and gradually grows and multiplies dirty things, garbage, bacteria, stones, infections, etc. which gradually causes urinary system diseases,  unhealthy sexual desire, Pee or Urinate in Squatting Posture is Healthier for Men and Womenunsatisfaction, anxiety, frustration, depression, frequency of nightfalls (unconscious loss of semen without masturbation or sexual intercourse),  lust, mode of passion and ignorance etc. Ultimately by this unhealthy habit of urinating while standing, we will end up in urinary system diseases like urinary tract infections, incontinence, bladder Pee or Urinate in Squatting Posture is Healthier for Men and Womencancer, bladder exstrophy, diaper rash, kidney cancer, kidney stones, urethral diverticula, vesicoureteral reflux, cystocele (fallen bladder), hematuria (blood in the urine), impotence – erectile dysfunction, interstitial cystitis,  infertility in men, peyronie’s disease, prostate disease, prostate cancer as well as other unhealthy conditions and diseases affecting the urinary system.’

Unfortunately, in present day, under the flags of freedom and hygiene, many advertisements are even promoting for females to urinate by standing ( In the aspects of health, as unhealthy pee or urinate by standing for femalewe mentioned before, for females to urinate by standing is far more dangers than for males. Those women, who practice this unhealthy standing while urinating posture, it is for sure that they will ultimately end up with gynecological and urinary system health problems and diseases, faster than males.

“Urinary system diseases affect the lives of millions of people every year. Some cause temporary inconvenience and discomfort. Others can cause extreme pain and may even be fatal.” ( – Urinary system diseases)

Comparison of Squatting and sitting posture: Squatting posture for males and females for peeing is definitely more natural and healthier than sitting. And consequently sitting posture is slightly healthier that standing. If for now we are not able to squat while peeing, the healthier option at least, is to urinate in sitting posture for time being.

But such a case is not the same about when passing stool.   More details about how to let go constipation and pass stool healthier, we can read in article “Squatting, the Best Toilet Posture“.

Prevention of many of these gynaecological and urinary system diseases and others healthy problems can be simple, if we just follow natural and eternal laws of nature by daily drinking sufficiently plain water (on average 1.7-2.3l per day) and always wisely and healthily pass urine peacefully in squatting posture.

Benefits of Squatting posture from social point of view: Peeing or urinating by squatting posture is more polite and respective to our self and others. This is also usually more effective in concealing one’s private parts, and in preventing the urine from splashing back onto one’s own body and clothes.
“The reality is men can NOT pee standing up without getting as much as a stray drop on the seat or the outside surface of the toilet. Fragmentation of the urine stream causes particles of urine to dissipate. The larger the distance urine has to travel, the bigger the dissipation radius gets.”

“Some of you may say, “No, not me! I can pee through a donut from 40 feet above!” Well, mister hand-eye coordination, you are probably one of those people who also never ask for directions. Admitting that you have a problem is half the battle. At some point in your life you need to ask yourself, “Is it worth it? What has peeing standing up cost me in my life?” (Mothers against peeing standing up – 15 Mar 2011)

Benefits of Squatting posture from mindfulness and spiritual point of view. We can see in narrations conveyed to us that the usual practice of the Grate Saint Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) and Lord Buddha and His trained Buddhist order monks was to urinate in the squatting posture. [Please see whole article about that]. In addition, other monastic orders also, by tradition and for other reasons, still today pass urine and stool in squatting posture. In the Great Mahabharata, King Bhima explains that people in the present age (Sanskrit: Kali-yuga) will lose their life span simply by urinating while standing.
